Fallout New Vegas Redesigned 4

Today we take a look at some of the exciting new mod releases for Fallout 4. We see some major releases from both the Fallout 3 remake mod and the Fallout: N. One is New Vegas redesigned. What it does is similar to what Project Beauty does in Fallout so a nip-and-tuck on the faces. Earache's Book of Mo is a complete overhaul of the wasteland with new hair styles and new eye textures.

Fallout New Vegas Redesigned

Vegas

Fallout 4: New Vegas is an ambitious project to say the very least and while the devs have been talking about the game and have been revealing what the game is going to be like as they are developing it, we really have not had a look into what the new weapons are going to be liked. Fallout 4: New Vegas devs have show shared the weapons that will be in the game for the first time.

Fallout 4: New Vegas is an exciting project, to say the least, and I am pretty sure that fans have been waiting to get an insight into what the weapons are going to be like. The Fallout 4: New Vegas devs had the following to say in this regard:

Unlike Fallout 4, which was focused mostly on the 1920’s-era Thompson, New Vegas is home to a number of different SMGs of varying calibers and features. Among the weapons absent from Fallout 4 is the 10mm SMG, a staple of previous Fallout games (and a frequent matter for concern if Ian was behind you and somehow found one in his hands.)

While this is a great start, it is not the end and you can expect even more cool stuff from the devs later on. The devs also talked about how this is not just a remake of the original game and the following is what they had to say in this regard:

F4NV aims to be more than a remaster, we see this as an opportunity to increase the utility of these items where appropriate. Areas where there’s little natural or man-made lighting will be appropriately dark and require use of either the Pip-Boy flashlight, or for stealthy characters encourage the use of chems like Cateye to evade and sneak past enemies without giving yourself away with the bright light source on your wrist.

Fallout 4: New Vegas devs are hard at work, making the game as good as the fans expectations and I am confident that they will be able to deliver. The final game should be very interesting indeed and I for one am interested in seeing how it will be different from the original.

Fallout

Fallout 4: New Vegas is one of the largest Fallout 4 mods currently in development. The team behind the project have even received the official backing of Bethesda, and have a sizeable community of supporters. To cater to that community, the team post regular progress updates about their work. Their latest update offers fans their first look at a new weapon redesign; that of the game’s Sawed-Off Shotgun.

The Fallout 4: New Vegas Sawed-Off Shotgun Redesign

The Fallout 4: New Vegas team have offered fans a glimpse at several weapon redesigns so far, including the 10mm Submachine Gun and the Varmint Rifle. The latest is a similar retro firearm; “A Laser Rifle is a wonderfully complex weapon,” states the latest update from the team; “A marvel of advanced energy weapons technology, it can be modified to fill countless roles, and with the right parts can be anything from a trusty sidearm to a devastating long-range sniper weapon… But sometimes, you just need to keep things nice and simple. Uncomplicated. You need a weapon that excels in its given role, and can be trusted to do so no matter what. And for times like that, nothing rocks in close quarters like the Sawed-Off Shotgun.”

The gorgeously redesigned Sawed-Off-Shotgun is a single-handed firearm with considerable punch, even though it lacks for range. The redesign is the work of Painter2099, a member of the Fallout 4: New Vegas 3D Team; “This beauty is a fusion of the original Fallout 3 Sawed-Off Shotgun,” explains the update; “the version included in Fallout: New Vegas, as well as Adam Adamowicz’s original concept art”. The weapon boasts undeniable detail, with a weathered wood finish and even a small adornment beneath the trigger. The update describes it as the “ultimate melee weapon,” and the description makes sense, for few firearms pack the same kind of firepower as the Sawed-Off Shotgun; certainly, there’s few things a player wants to hand more when dealing with a charging Super Mutant.
